Classic old-school fantasy.
I bought this book because we wore the first copy out. ROFL
Wonderful characters, inventive situations and great writing. Some of the best writers in SciFi are represented in this series. It is CLASSIC.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was one of my favorite series books that I read when I was in high school.
Playing out like a who's who of the fantasy writing world, this book is engaging and entertaining and, at times, quite emotional. I highly recommend this book, and this series, to anyone interested in fantasy books.
Bought to read with some friends as a look into collaborative writing, really enjoyed the read.
Great series of books.
